Finally, install the sunshade sail to ensure that the unfolded plane can be flattened and stretched, so as to resist high winds.
Measurement of shade sails
Before installation, you need to measure the area you want to shade. The measured length is the distance from corner to corner. You can roughly plan the shape to be occluded, and then choose a triangle or a rectangle.
About the area to be shielded, find the installation points outside the area, 3 or 4, of course, it can also be a combination. These installation points can be anything that can provide support, such as roofs, walls, trees, telephone poles, pillars, etc. After measuring the distance of the installation point, you can determine the corner to corner distance of the shade sail.
Installation of shade sails
- First use the accessories, which are fixed on the mounting point, usually some hooks or loops.
- Then if the space between the shade sail and the hardware kit you plan exceeds 1 foot, you can use the cable as an extension. Of course, there can also be flexible rubber bands.
- Connect the stainless steel D ring on the corner of the shade sail to the hardware kit and tighten it as much as possible.
- Adjust the tension of the corners. This can be done with a locking ring or a rope. Adjust the tension of each corner to ensure that there are no waves or wrinkles on the surface of the shade sail.
- Adjust the screws and tighten them as much as possible.
The maintenance of the sunshade sail is also very easy. You only need to use a mild detergent or water to clean it. Don’t use a stiff brush. You can use a washing machine, but you can’t dry it at high temperature.
