Hail Netting is a high density polyethylene material that is extruded, cut, drawn and woven. Hail Netting has many of the advantages of HDPE material. It is light in weight and durable. It provides great stretch and shade without putting excessive weight and stress on the supporting structure. The weaving technique used for our hail screens is a flat knitting technique, which prevents the silk strands from falling apart and mould build-up due to cutting.
At the same time, reinforced edges and corners are used for the edges of the hail netting to ensure durability during installation and use. The reinforced edges can also withstand greater tensile forces and can provide stronger support for the installation of the hail screen. This design significantly increases the usability of the hail screen, allowing it to span a greater support spacing, whilst being stronger and more durable.
We can also offer OEM customisation of hail screens, where we can cut and edge reinforce raw hail screens to customer specifications. Setting the rope loops at a certain spacing makes the hail screen easier to install. Alternatively you can choose to have the locking rings pre-set at the woven edges, a design that is also one of our innovations.
